About the ADC

Fresh, potable water is a scarce, indispensable resource required by people and industries. As the world population increases, fresh water usage is also growing, thus new methods are being created and investigated to meet this demand.

In recent years Seawater Desalination by reverse osmosis (SWRO) has benefited tremendously from these efforts.

The Affordable Desalination Collaboration (ADC) is a non-profit organization comprised of a group of industry leading companies, federal and state government agencies, and water districts, combining their efforts and sharing their expertise in a mission to demonstrate affordable, reliable and environmentally responsible desalination technologies and to provide a platform by which cutting edge technologies can be tested and measured for their ability to reduce the overall cost of the SWRO treatment process.
